The Kids Are Waiting My Story Project is an initiative of The Public Children Services Association of Ohio as part of its work with Kids Are Waiting: Fix Foster Care Now. The project is funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts.
The Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO) is a private non-profit association of the county public children services agencies charged with child protection throughout Ohio. The PCSAO mission statement drives its work: PCSAO is a proactive coalition of public children services agencies that promotes the development of sound public policy and program excellence for safe children, stable families, and supportive communities. We do this through advocacy, research, training, consultation, and technical assistance.
PCSAO is a partner of the Kids are Waiting Campaign. Find us online at www.pcsao.org
Kids Are Waiti ng: Fix Foster Care Now is a national, nonpartisan campaign dedicated to ensuring that all children in foster care have the safe, permanent families they deserve by reforming the federal financing structure that governs our nation's foster care system. Led by The Pew Charitable Trusts, an ever-growing number of local, state and national partners are working together so that our most vulnerable children don't spend their childhoods waiting in foster care for the families they deserve.
